Redbridge Business Partnerships demonstrate effective partnership working between businesses, Redbridge Council, the Police and other voluntary and community sector representatives.
They provide a strong voice for the wealth of diverse businesses, which include restaurants, shops, entertainment and leisure activities for the benefit of everyone who works, lives and visits the Borough.
enterpriseREDBRIDGE is one of the clusters of the Redbridge Strategic Partnership aimed at developing and supporting the Redbridge economy. It is represented by a broad range of businesses and business groups, including the nine Business Partnerships in the Borough.
The Business Partnerships cover the major shopping areas of the Borough, each focussing on sustaining and making their town centres attractive, welcoming, safe and accessible.
Redbridge is unique in the UK as it has two very successful business improvement districts (BIDs). The BIDs are business zones where local businesses have joined together, agreed a local “business levy” and spend the additional monies on collective improvements and enhancements determined by the members within the business zone. The local authority is consulted but all the decisions go through a democratically elected local BID Board.
